There’s something that makes you stop and take notice of Mike and Christina Perron. It’s the way they approach relationships with inherent honesty, love and candor.
Mike’s inspiring story of “having it all, losing it all and finding God” has touched and transformed lives throughout the nation. He grew to national prominence in the 1990’s with ESPN’s “Co-Ed Training” television show and Time Warner’s “Abs of Steel” video. That experience gave him access to a fast-paced world that eventually led to him being addicted to methamphetamine. In a moment of clarity he recognized that a battle for his life was occurring; he reached out for help and found freedom from pain and addiction through Christ.
As ordained minister, prior to starting Summit Life Church, Mike served as Prestonwood Baptist Church’s Single Adult Minister and as the leader for the church’s “Recovery” program.
Christina ministers to countless women about creating loving, supportive relationships, about confidence issues and overcoming their past issues through discovering their true identity in Christ.
Together, Mike and Christina are parents to two miracle children: Isabella, whom doctors predicted would never be conceived naturally; and Grayson, a recent brain-tumor surgery survivor. “Our faith alone walked us through these trials”, says Christina.
